Real Talk – May 2017

Whoah – 5 months down, 7 months to go! Before we know it, it’s going to be time to write 2018 and 2017 will just be something we talk about in past tense.

May was a busy month for sure. I am sad to say I only published 3 blog posts in May. While I had a goal of publishing more, I spent more time this month with friends and family, which is incredibly important to me. I’ve always dreamed about blogging for a living, but that’s not my reality right now and I have other things to focus on.

I created this blog because it was something I always wanted to do. It’s my little creative outlet. It allows me to take photos (something I love to do) and share what’s going on in life.

May was an overall good month! I received my first FabFitFun box (c/o) and loved it! You can read more about FabFitFun here.

I attended my boyfriend’s sister’s college graduation at the University of Arkansas, my alma mater. It was such a fun celebration of Abby’s accomplishments and was crazy to think that a year had passed since I walked the stage and earned my diploma. After thinking about all that had happened over the past year, I wrote a post with 8 Pieces of Advice for College Graduates. I’ve learned so much over the past year and wanted to share some of the biggest lessons with others.

While we were in Arkansas for graduation, Wade adopted a sweet 7-week-old German Shorthaired Pointer puppy named Ryder! He is the most precious thing and is the greatest snuggler!

Our friend Michael, who is dating Wade’s sister Abby, adopted Tucker – Ryder’s brother!

This month I also shared my love for white summer dresses. If I could wear a dress every day during the summer I most likely would! I think white dresses are a staple when it comes to summer wardrobes!

Other exciting life events that happen in May include Mother’s Day, my momma’s birthday, my 4.5 year anniversary with Wade and my 1 year work anniversary! Lots to be thankful for over here!

I hope May brought you many blessings as well! Life is full of surprises and I’m excited to see what God has in store.

As always, thanks for stopping by!
